The Chaoticness of Stillness
There’s a relationship with our body and mind when we practice stillness. Intentionally directing the body to still physical efforts, activity and engagement only opens the curtain on the chaoticness of the mind. The physical, when stilled, gives back attention to the mind like the ground gives back water to the lake after it's been filled. The mind now receiving a sudden dose of intake doesn't know what to do with the sudden surge of chaos. Having not been trained on how to handle the chaos, the mind quickly directs the body to vacate the stillness from where the chaos came. Hence the pattern for most of us. What if there was training, what if there was a way to be in stillness and give the chaoticness of mind a place to run?
